Tasquinha Da Jacinta in Frankfurt

I book a table there for me and 3 other friends. They gave us a place in their terrace. so far so good. We arrived and the place was packed of people. (between us and the near table there was barely space to walk) We opened the window (see picture) and one of the manager arrived and told us in a very unfriendly way that it wasn't allowed. We pointed out that because of corona, would be safer to at least open some window. (there was no ventilation whatsoever) Her answer: "if you don't like it you can leave". We don't speak german, and while trying to explain our reason, she left. At that point we left. Oh, and obviously they didn't collect the data for contact tracing in case of a positive cases. Apparently the food is great. But I strongly suggest to wait to go until the end of this pandemic.

We love this place! The atmosphere, food, people are the best! We visit it many times, never get bored of food and the taste-quality are always top! Highly recommended

Portuguese restaurant with nice atmosphere and good food. You can sit outside and children are also welcome. Typical Portuguese dishes served well ? ... don't forget dessert ... or maybe a Pastel de Nata ? ... finally Bica ☕ .... Reserve recommended and arrive early if the weather is good could be tight outside ... but worth a visit.

Very good food and great staff

The facility looks more in need of renovation. No guests should be placed indoors in midsummer. The starters Bolinhos de Bacalhão + Rissóis were convenience products. Olives and ham platters were good. The two Bacalhão main courses were bland. Service was friendly, but the main courses definitely took too long.

It is a place that greatly reminds me of a Spanish chiringuito on the beach. I found the food delicious, especially the Cod à la Jacinta. They are not the fastest, true, but when I go it is not to do everything in a hurry so I am delighted. Incredibly good value for money.

I would also like to give 0 stars! My sister-in-law reserved a table for 10 people for her mother and even got it confirmed in WhatsApp. But when we stood at the door with 10 people, no table was reserved and neither was free.

Great food, very fair price for excellent quality. A tip would be to have some dishes and entrees for vegetarians. Congratulations to the owners.

It was already an hour since I placed the order, so sign of food. They don’t even serve a portion of bread also even after asking. Horrible service, clients speaking German and Portuguese are preferred by the staff for better service. However the food arrived and it was delicious and very very fresh. If you are not tooo too hungry pls visit the place. You’ve to wait like really wait.

The food is very good and it is for an reasonable price

Located outside Frankfurt city center but accessible by tram and a walk. The dishes are very well served and the restaurant is good for big groups and children.

Great authentic Portuguese place in Niederrad. Great food, Portuguese Cook and no fancy fuzz. Just good food to feed your soul.

I was very excited to enjoy Portuguese food in Frankfurt. Unfortunately is was a complete let down. The bacalhao abras I ordered was with rice instead of potato stix and there wasn't a hint of egg in it, the cheese had no flavor, the bread was cheap and store-bought at best, my still water was delivered sparkling...and to top it off, when I commented on the disappointment of my meal the staff became very upset, defensive and quite vulgar. I do not recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic (or even reasonable) experience.

A nice out of the way restaurant with Portuguese cuisine. Good portions, outside veranda for eating situated in a garden allotment area. Nice Portuguese wines.

Fantastic! A little piece of Portugal in Frankfurt. I had Bacalhau a Jacinta. It was just perfect - juicy and just perfect cooked! The environment is casual and the service is joyful and efficient!

Very warm dinner atmosphere. Make sure you have cash. I didn’t so the waitress told me I can pay next time. I’m from Toronto Canada so next time could be far away... So I went to an ATM and refurned and paid the 18€ bill. The waitress didn’t want to accept my tip. Amazing people!

Come here if you... are hungry and want to enjoy the true atmosphere of a portuguese restaurant! The restaurant offers you really tasty food at a reasonable price. The value for money cant be beaten! Location is a bit weird.. kind of in the middle of nowhere though! Bacalao is amazing!

Very good food. Reservation strongly recommended. Wheelchair suitable. Parking is available 5 minutes away. Food menu not very big, but what on it is very good. Toilets very clean.

Very nice staff and ambience, delicious food and generous portions. Only downside, you can not pay by card, otherwise everything was good :)

Very good Portuguese food, I believe the restaurant is only open from Friday to Sunday. I recommend the bacalhau a Jacintha with the vinho verde. Nice terrace in summer.

Was a wonderful experience. Never had Portuguese food before and is worth a try. A lot of varieties of codfish available. The starters were incredibly good and the desserts as well. :-) for the great location inside a Kliengarten. Outdoor seating available.

Not the best Portuguese restaurant I've been to, but they stand their ground. I found a cooked insect in my food, but they offered to bring a new one. I appreciated the fact that all waiters speak Portuguese, even the German ones! The food portions are very generous, so it's great value for price. There is a very limited amount of choice, which is a good thing, as they do well what they offer. The staff was not the friendliest, and the lack of receipt does not make it a very trustworthy location. But overall it was a good experience

Top Portuguese restaurant! The wine is perfect! No doubt. Transport is a bit demanding because it’s all field around it.
